LINEAGE OS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed.LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Download Lineage OS 14.1 on OnePlus X


Follow this if you are flashing Lineage OS 14.1 for OnePlus x (oneplusx) for the first time, or coming from another ROM:

Before Starting:

– Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.

– Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.

– It is also discouraged to Restoring Apps + Data using Titanium Backup.

How to install Lineage OS 14.1 on Oneplus x


1. Download and Copy the GApps for lineage os and OnePlus x Lineage 14.1 ROM ZIP to your phone.

2. Boot into Recovery. Make sure to have a Custom recovery like CWM or TWRP or any other custom recovery.

3. Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition.

This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM

4. First flash the OnePlus x Lineage os14.1 ROM ZIP from device. Then flash the GApps zip from your device memory.

5. Then reboot into recovery (don’t skip this) and flash the Lineage 14.1 Nougat GApps package.

6. Reboot and Enjoy the Nougat 7.1 Lineage 14.1 ROM for OnePlus x


Upgrading from earlier version of Lineage OS 14.1 for OnePlus X (oneplusx):


1. Copy the latest OnePlus X Lineage rom14.1 ROM ZIP file to your phone.

2. Boot into Recovery.

3. Flash the latest CM ROM ZIP from your phone.

4. Then flash the Lineage 14.1 Nougat GApps package.

5. Reboot and Enjoy

Complete the initial setup and enjoy Android Nougat 7.1 with Lineage 14.1 for OnePlus X (oneplusx).

    This is stable ROM ? Any network drop ? Like while opening protected apps ui will stop working and network drops down in 1 Jan 2017 build

      The ROM is rather stable, it works perfectly fine, without any critical bug.
      Actually the first 7.1.1 Android ROM I've tested that is fully functional and without major bugs, actually non found yet. Would definitely recommend using this one!

      But gsm is not working in second sim slot ? any idea to fix this..

      There currently is a minor bug for the second SIM slot.
      In the next nightly this bug will be fixed.

      Apparently there is a newer Nightly from the 10th of January.
      You can find it at " https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=144436 "
      I haven't tested it yet but I will soon so i'll give you an update on that as well.
      The ROM is from another developer so keep that in mind, maybe not everything (that maybe works on the first ROM) will work properly because of (minor) bugs. But I suppose that it should work better.

    Currently using this ROM, works really great, better than CM14.1 nightly's.
    Everything is working properly and its beautiful!

    currently using this ROM, works fine except:
    1. development settings is not working. opening development settings results in black screen
    2. press something else while you receive a call and the call is lost, you have to open dialer and tap on resume call to get to the call.

    I am currently using cm 13.1 nightly and the battery life in this is pretty bad.how good is the battery life in this build??

    I would strongly suggest to all of you to remove your current OS and download the one from the (now) official download portal of LineAgeOS at 'download.lineageos.org'. Here you will find the latest builds of LineAgeOS for your device. You can read all about it at their latest article at 'lineageos.org/Update-and-Build-Prep'.

    can I expect VoLTE support in this ROM?
    I know Oxygen OS doesn't support VoLTE..but SoC support this.

    Hi!

    Downloaded this and am overallm very impressed. I have experienced a few weird bugs that I thought that I'd share as it may be a point of improvement (or not).

    The Twitter-app (as well as third party apps such as Echofon and Tweetdeck) crash constantly. This also applies to WeChat but all other apps are just fine and behave normally.

    I'm running 14.1-20170713-NIGHTLY-onyx on the OPX.
