ReplyDeleteany bugs in this, and volte is working or not
ReplyDeleteVolte is not working properly... It gets disconnecting randomly.... Hope this will fix soon
DeleteShows signature not verified error while updating from sd card in twrp recovery and then quits
ReplyDeleteHello, i followed all the steps, but the phone refuses to boot now.
ReplyDeleteNormally (factory state), when you press the vol+/power to go to recovery menu, some kind of Lenovo menu appears. There are several buttons (MMItest,PCBA test, HW info,...) and one of them is "recovery".
After i flashed the TWRP thru adb, everyting was fine, Lenovo menu appeared, after pressing the recovery button it went to TWRP.
Then i made the factory reset, flashed the Lineagerom zip and gapps zip.
After the reboot, phone shows Lenovo logo, than goes black screen (or maybe power off).
If i press vol+/power to go to recovery menu, nothing happens.
What am i doing wrong?
I was able to boot into recovery again thru adb and restore the original rom from backup and tried all the steps again but the result is still the same.
Thanks for your help.
Hello Kra B, if you already did everything on the phone through the bootloader. To start in recovery mode with the phone off, if you have already installed the twpr, press volume + -, and the power button at the same time until it starts, and you should start in twpr
ReplyDeleteSure, but as I wrote, after i flashed the Lineage ROM in TWRP i am not able to boot anymore. So when i press the vol+/power the phone is stucked on Lenovo logo only.
DeleteIt seems to me that some Lenovo boot part (that with the HWinfo, tests and recovery button) has been overwritten by the Lineage ROM.
Hi, kra B,I recommend you to rebecrate this video, ero instead of installing the crdroid install the latest version of lieageos for lenovo vibe k5 plus, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHIK6tm0DSg

This is what i did. The steps are the same as on this page. The only difference is that i used older version of TWRP (3.0.2.r1), so there might be incompatibility with the Lineage android 7.1. I will try to flash the newest 3.1 version of TWRP and install again.
ReplyDeleteI confirm the problems were caused by older version of TWRP. I flashed 3.1 version and latest build of Lineage and it boots OK after restart. Just the Lenovo boot menu is not accesible, when you press vol+/power, nothing happens. To get to recovery menu you have to press vol+/vol-/power.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have troubles with dual sim on k5 plus too? Phone changes assigned SIM functions (call/sms/data) after reboot or airplane mode.
