Download Lineage OS For Zuk Z1 (ham) Android Nougat 7.1.1. LINEAGE OS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed.LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.



Before Starting

Take care of following tasks before you proceed with flashing custom ROM:

 Task 1: Install USB drivers for your device on your PC.

 Task 2: Be sure to backup your data including Contacts, SMS / MMS, APN & MMS Settings as well as photos and videos stored on your device’s internal or external storage.

 Task 3: Make sure that your device is well charged. Ideally, the battery level should be around 60-80%. The more the better.

 Task 4: USB Debugging should be enabled on your device.

 Important: Most of the custom ROM will not have Google Apps in them. So, you will have to download and install GApps manually.

Done with preliminary precautionary steps? So, here’s the guide:

TWRP recovery let’s you do a number of cool stuff but the whole point of having a custom recovery is to be able to flash unsigned .zip files. These .zip files could be anything from a custom kernel, boot, recovery, MODs or full custom ROMs.


Let’s see how to flash a lineage os rom on Zuk Z1 using TWRP recovery.

How to Install a Lineage Os ROM using TWRP Recovery


  1. Download and transfer the Lineage os ROM and Gapps for lineage os you wish to flash to your device’s storage.
  2. Boot your device into TWRP recovery.
  3. Select “Wipe” from TWRP main menu and do a “Swipe to Factory Reset” on the bottom of screen.
    └ Note: This will factory reset your device. If your custom ROM doesn’t require a factory reset, then simply skip this step.
  4. Go back to TWRP main menu, tap on “Install” and select the Lineage os  ROM .zip file and gapps for lineage os that you transferred to your device in Step 1.
  5. After selecting the .zip file, do “Swipe to Confirm Flash” on the bottom of screen to begin the custom ROM installation process. This may take some time.
  6. Once your ROM is successfully flashed, you’ll see “Wipe cache/dalvik” option, select it and then do “Swipe to wipe” on bottom of screen.
  7. Once cache & dalvik wipe completes, hit the “Back” button on-screen and then select “Reboot System” button.

    Shall We get C-Apps for lineage14.1? I am not getting weather update on status bar and no notification sound while connecting or disconnecting the charger even if it is active in setting..

    Dear Developer..

    There are some bugs in this ROM,
    Specially SIM 2 is not working (It showing network bar but no data, no calls).
    I can't even select default SIM for calls.

    Please fix this bug..
    I am waiting till you fix it.
    And give us new version.

    I have a issue .... I downloaded the ROM file and installed as you mentioned but after installation .In the screen to choose ur language my touch is not working .if I wipe that ROM and install the cm ROM it is working good.... Can u tell me what is the issue

    Hi team Lineage, I have downloaded lineageos 14.1 after the installation my fingerprint option is gone, first it was there as I tried to setup my fingerprint password there was an message saying hardware not found and than the option disappeared. Please help with this Error,. C the find any help so far.

    I'm using lineage 14.1 OS. Working good. But some bug is their.
    1) 2 SIM not working
    2) IRCTC apps doesn't work.Apps want to unroot my device. But I have already done.

    1) SIM 2 not working properly.
    2) Playstore Download Problem
    3) after Unroot So many apps error with say my device is rooted.

    Please don't install lineage OS. So many bugs are there and lineage is not updating anything about these problems.

    At this point , upon considering all the reviews, its better not to update Lineage update for Zuk Z1(Unofficial version).
    So far with CM OS there is no issues, it's better our device should operate with latest version of OS. Dear Lineage Team, Please fix the update the and release Official version of OS for Zuk Z1. We are eagerly waiting for Lineage OS update for Zuk Z1, as other devices are working extremely well and having very good lineage features.

    There are a couple of issues
    1) I can't make phone calls from my 2nd Sim.
    2)The Google app doesn't allow you to enable screen search,and you can't enable it.
    I think the 1st issue is a main problem it would be really nice to see the next update fixing these issues.

    I have the latest update (28-03-2017) nightly
    These are the problems I encountered
    1. 2nd SIM is not active
    2. No option for setting up fingerprint lock
    3. In some apps auto orientation doesn't work

    Plz try to fix this ASAP :)

    Thank you very much. But I have a problem with drivers / sensors, the fingerprint sensor isn't recognized, the accelerometer and the gyroscope don't seem to work either. I tried to flash some Marshmallow firmware but that didnt work. :')

    i have installed lineage os on my zuk z1. but i am unable to update it to a newer version.
    the update download fails midway even when i m using the lineage downloader.
    please help. old version has few bugs which i believe have been rectified in the update.
