ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know how to carrier unlock lg ls990 rooted running on lineage os 14.1? I tried to put my sim in and nothing. I'm new to all this, but did successfully root and install custom rom by myself
ReplyDeleteHey! Firstly, you use LGUp to flash VZ4 stock rom, then you root by Stump. And you can unlock carrier following this article: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/general/unlock-sim-gsm-how-to-t2853594. Secondly, you install twrp recovery and backup efs partition. Last, you flash lineage os and you unlocked you phone.
DeleteP/s: sorry my english :-(
So I would lose the custom rom I currently have, and would have to do it all over again? Sprint gave me a unlock code to give to my new carrier, but I'm not with one yet, and I want to unlock it my self, but when I put in sim it does nothing.
DeleteI currently have twrp also :) so would it be easier to go to the backup I made before installing lineage 14.1 and do unlock then re flash my rom?
DeleteOke. I will send to you my efs partition. You try restore it. I don't know it work, but you can tru. Remember, backup your efs partition in twrp.
