Today we will show how you can change font of any custom rom it can be MIUI, AOSP, Lineage os 14,15 as well as Stock rom.You just need to download a flashable zip file of new fonts that Google released in android oreo 8.1.We provided the link Googlesans.zip font file for all custom roms.
Just follow step according to your custom rom and enjoy latest google fonts on your device.
Note: To revert back to original font, restore "system" using TWRP (recommended) or flash TWRP_StockRoboto.zip
1# Install Google sans Font on MIUI8/MIUI9 with TWRP
1. Download MIUI_TWRP_GoogleSans.zip
2. Then Boot into TWRP Recovery > Backup > Select System3. Once backup is finished click on Install > Select and flash the zip

Reboot > System

1. Download MIUI_GoogleSans.mtz
2#Install Google sans Font on MIUI8/MIUI9 without TWRP
1. Download MIUI_GoogleSans.mtz
2. Install MIUI Theme Editor : Playstore
3. Open Themes app > Themes > Import
4. Go to Internal Storage > MIUI > Theme > Select GoogleSans.mtz
5. Select the font from themes list and reboot to apply the font
6. To revert back to original font, apply default theme and reboot
7.You wont be able to see bold, italics fonts due to a bug on MIUI.
Note: Flashing the MIUI_TWRP_GoogleSans.zip using TWRP will fix this issue.
2. Boot into TWRP > Backup > Select System
3. Install > Select and flash the zip
4. Reboot > System

Changing Lockscreen Font using Magisk Manager and Substratum
1. Flash the Magisk-GoogleSans.zip module using TWRP
2. Install Substratum Theme Engine : Playstore
3.Install Pixel+2+Lockscreen+Clock_1.0.apk
4. Open Substratum and apply the overlay. Reboot phone if prompted.
5. Your ROM should support OMS, if its Legacy the SystemUI might crash or phone might bootloop.
6. If your phone bootloops or system UI crashes, flash the rescue package from Internal storage > Substratum folder using TWRP
